Thomas Johnson Girls Soccer Earns First Win With 8–0 Victory

Thomas Johnson defeated South Hagerstown 8–0 for its first win of the season. Kirkendall-Plaia scored three goals, and Main scored twice. Flemming recorded four assists. The Patriots’ junior varsity team also won, 7–0.
Thomas Johnson’s girls soccer team broke through for its first victory of the season with an 8–0 win over South Hagerstown.
Nina Kirkendall-Plaia led the Patriots with a hat trick, while Sophie Main added two goals, according to The Frederick News-Post’s local roundup.
Sachi Flemming contributed four assists to help drive the attack.
Layla Romero scored once and assisted on two goals. Lexi Stockwin and Abbey Tootill each added a goal, giving Thomas Johnson five different scorers. Genesis Acevedo also recorded an assist.
The Patriots kept South Hagerstown off the scoreboard while combining contributions from multiple players at the other end.
Thomas Johnson also won the junior varsity match, 7–0.
WHAT IT MEANS
The result gives Thomas Johnson its first victory and a performance to build on. Five players scored, with Flemming and Romero contributing multiple assists as the Patriots generated an eight-goal attack.
