Oakdale stays unbeaten with 30–3 victory at Damascus
The Bears improved to 4–0 and head next to Urbana for another road test.

Oakdale won a meeting of unbeaten teams Friday, Sept. 25, defeating Damascus 30–3 on the road.
The Bears improved to 4–0, while Damascus dropped to 3–1. The 27-point margin continued an opening month in which Oakdale has won every game by at least 20 points.
Oakdale’s first three victories came against St. John’s Catholic Prep, Governor Thomas Johnson and Middletown. The Bears have scored 170 points while allowing 24 across their four games, based on the results listed on their MaxPreps schedule.
That works out to 42.5 points scored and six allowed per game. Damascus’ three points were the fewest Oakdale has allowed in a game this season.
Oakdale is scheduled to visit Urbana on Friday, Oct. 2, at 6:30 p.m. Damascus next hosts Rockville on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 6:30 p.m., according to MaxPreps.

The Bears take an unbeaten record into their county matchup at Urbana. Their opening four results show consistent scoring production and low opponent totals.
