Linganore hands Walkersville first loss, wins 46–6
The Lancers improved to 4–0 in a matchup of previously unbeaten county teams.

Linganore remained unbeaten Friday, Sept. 25, defeating host Walkersville 46–6 and handing the Lions their first loss of the season.
Both teams entered the county matchup with 3–0 records. The result moved the Lancers to 4–0 and left Walkersville at 3–1.
MaxPreps’ recap identified the victory as Linganore’s 17th consecutive win extending back into last season. It was also the Lancers’ third straight victory by at least 35 points this fall.
Linganore’s recent results include a 49–14 win against Meade and a 49–7 victory over Tuscarora. Friday’s 40-point margin continued that run of decisive results.
The Lancers are scheduled to host Frederick on Friday, Oct. 2. Walkersville travels to Governor Thomas Johnson that evening. Both games are listed for 6:30 p.m.
